“ My friend and I recently dined at Yahao Asian Cuisine. We started with warm green tea and hot sake, accompanied by a mix of appetizers. The crispy calamari was a bit too crunchy, but the beef nagamaki was a delightful surprise. The dumplings, and especially tuna tortilla pizza from the sushi bar were also enjoyable. We opted for the Yahao Poke Bowl for our main course, appreciating the customizable ingredients, though the rice had cooled by the time we finished our appetizers. Our waiter, Danny, was attentive and knowledgeable, promptly providing forks and refilling our tea. For dessert, the chocolate and green tea ice cream were highlights. However, the lack of nearby parking (requiring a 10-minute walk) was inconvenient. The staff’s noise while measuring for a room divider proved distracting, and we found the table a bit sticky with insufficient napkins. Despite these drawbacks, the positive aspects, including the delicious dishes, good company, and pleasant music, contribute to an overall rating of 4 out of 5 for our experience. ”

“ I want to come back again and get the full experience of Yahao cuisine. I ordered from here a couple for delivery. I decided to come to the restaurant out of curiosity in order to get my meal. They have a very cool anime display at the front door. A very nice bar when you walk in with nice seating. Perfect for waiting for a table or a quick meetup with a friend. I was very impressed with the size of the restaurant and the quickness of the food. I posted a few pictures but hopefully soon I can add pictures of the meals that I order. In the meantime, they have his and hers bathrooms and a municipal parking lot down the road. This location is also near the LIRR. The sushi also looked really good. Make a trip over and enjoy. ”

“ Excellent food! Great atmosphere! The staff is friendly and sweet, the food does take a bit of a time, but really worth it! Go drop by and order a Mango Martini while you wait for you food ”

You can never go wrong with their poke bowls, they are simply the best!! Best value and taste out of all their menu options. Accompanied by friendly staff, this restaurant always receives my endorsement. p.s. favorite poke bowl is: sushi rice, tempura crunch, salmon, tuna, eel, avocado, mixed greens, cucumbers, edamame, yahao dressing. it’s truly amazing ”

“ My mom and I came here after a gentleman saw us standing outside contemplating whether or not we should come in. He stopped on his way in stating "If you're debating, it is very good and worth a try. I work right down the street and I love it." That made our decision, and boy was he right. My mom got the Thai Basil Chicken and I, the Chicken with Broccoli. The food was well flavored and the rice had the perfect texture. We are definitely going to stop again, I am so thankful for a stranger's suggestion. ”

“ This restaurant is amazing and I loved the waiter. The people are kind to us and gave us a seat next to the aquarium with goldfish. The food was also very delicious and I got one of the poke bowls. Come here if you are ever in greatneck and if you are hungry. ”
